What it is:

The Simulation Designer is a part of the inteGREAT Simulation, an innovative feature for Requirements Definition and Validation. The inteGREAT Simulation enables Business Analysts to define, analyze, visualize and validate requirements by creating interactive previews and functioning environments of the application; thereby resulting in a quicker market delivery, lowered project costs & resources and an improved user experience. It provides a way to visualize the software by creating process flows and screen layouts, giving stakeholderce Features of inteGREAT experience the application prior to any project design and coding.

How it works:

With the Simulation Designer, users can design complete application flows, versatile wire frames and easy-to-modify user interfaces through the use of windows, panels, canvas, tabs, grids, dialogs and messages. The Simulation Designer comes with a rich collection of themes, layouts, application controls and predefined components to simulate real time applications. Users can add different UI data elements and controls such as text boxes, combo boxes, etc. and define various operations and interactions between the screens.

If the user initiates the requirements definition process or updates requirement change requests using the Simulation Designer, inteGREAT automatically creates and updates the relevant Use Case or Process in Visio, according to the screens and navigations defined; while keeping the inteGREAT requirements repository and the simulation in synch at all times. Furthermore, inteGREAT auto-generates updated process flow charts, swim lane and other UML and BPMN diagrams separately for each Use Case or Process.Additionally, inteGREAT auto generates context sensitive help based on the requirements, related requirements, user scenarios and data reuse from the Simulation Designer. The inteGREAT Simulation Designer is browser friendly and thus does not require custom players to run through the simulation. Simulations can also be versioned.
