Win Results

Dramatically reduced review/approval timelines

Since product owners are regularly travelling, being able to view, comment upon, discuss, and approve requirements online, greatly reduced timelines and time to value delivery.

Improved scope management

Comparing a baseline of the proposed work items at the beginning of a project with one taken mid project, highlights changes and is essential to controlling scope and budgets.

Reduced email churn and rework

Modern Requirements4DevOps (aka MR4TFS) reporting eliminated dozens of emails and misunderstandings with stakeholders.

Parallon extended the use of Azure DevOps Server (TFS) with Modern Requirements to create a single source of truth

Parallon is one of the country’s largest premier revenue cycle partners, with more than 15,800 employees serving 600+ hospitals and 3,000+ physician practices. Annually, they collect more than $41 billion and interact with 37 million patients. Their track record of results is among the best in the industry. Parallon is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), and is located in Nashville TN.

Parallon uses Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (TFS) extensively in their ALM process. However, they felt it did not support their requirements process adequately. They approached Modern Requirements regarding how our solution extends Azure DevOps Server (TFS) for requirements management. They were impressed to see it was built right into the Azure DevOps Server (TFS) UI, offering single sign-in experience and a single source of truth for their product owners/ analysts, developers and testers to work in. Furthermore, Modern Requirements4DevOps (aka MR4TFS) addressed the specific aspects of their process that they had identified as gaps, namely; attaching lengthy documents that do not provide granularity for tasks, working with visuals, managing scope and controlling review duration.

Parallon implemented Modern Requirements4DevOps (aka MR4TFS) in late 2017 for all analysts.
