Modern Requirements Training Program Options
Online anytime and anywhere. Access a large virtual library of guides and tutorials for beginners, intermediate and advanced users. Modern Requirements get-started sections are packed with videos, screen shots, and step by step guides.
Self-Learning resources are fully included at no additional cost and enable users to learn at their own comfortable pace. For additional assistance users can visit our community based support and FAQ forms with readily available agents to answer their questions.
Online Instructor Led Training
Instructor led training programs are approximately 14 hours in total for user training to cover all modules of the suite, as applicable. These can be delivered over multiple days comprised of 60-120 minute sessions per module. In the online curriculum participants will learn to develop requirements in a collaborative way, using their own project content. Modules in this curriculum can be selected to include any or all of the following:
Getting started and brining it all together using SmartOffice4TFS & iG4TFS
SmartWord advanced training, tips and techniques for authoring, reporting, collaborating and reverse document engineering.
SmartVisio advanced training, tips and techniques for working with diagrams, authoring requirements, and generating use cases and test cases.
SmartExcel advanced training, tips and techniques for creating queries, getting requirements in Excel, authoring, and generating multiple types of traceability matrices.
SmartOutlook advanced training, tips and techniques for working with emails.
TFS Web Access advanced training, tips and techniques for working with the backlog, managing work items, creating virtual meetings and managing feedback/discussion.
Baseline advanced training, tips and techniques for copying work items, creating and comparing baselines.
Traceability Management advanced training, tips and techniques for producing traceability matrices.
Review Management advanced training, tips and techniques for creating review packages and responding to review requests.
Use Case Editor advanced training, tips and techniques for textually creating use cases and generating diagrams.
Additional training modules such as Agile Training for the BA or Understanding requirements as a practice are also available. All online training sessions can be recorded and if participants miss any of these sessions, online video recordings of the session will be made available and provided for future viewing.

Administrative training is available covering such topics and document template creation, Word document importation, server configuration (taxonomy, workflows, alerts, etc.) Training on setting up and configuring our Synch Bridges, if applicable, are also available
Some clients prefer to provide their own administrative and configuration services to their user community on an ongoing basis, as opposed to asking eDev for these services. This is perfectly acceptable as well.
A ‘Train the Trainer’ approach can also be customized for any client.
