What Our clients say
By having the Modern Requirements Suite Smart Visio4TFS module calculate scenarios for us, then generate test cases automatically and publish them to our TFS testing environment, we were able to reduce our UAT efforts by 50%.
I’ve had LOTS of items I needed to add, delete and modify in a group of 8-12 PBIs for a project. By doing them in Smart Word4TFS it takes a tiny fraction of time as it does in TFS, where you have to open up each PBI separately.
We got out of the document manufacturing business and experienced a 50% increase in requirements productivity in six months, while reducing development rework from 25% to 2%.
I was able to cut my requirements-definition time in half within 10 days of starting to use your tool.
We jointly developed a repeatable requirements process, while improving our overall requirements productivity by at least 30%.
Modern Requirements’ Smart Office4TFS gives development teams another great option for requirements gathering and creation of software specs using familiar Microsoft products, and connecting those documents to the projects they define. This focus on enabling teams of any size to more seamlessly manage the lifecycle of existing and new applications is core to delivering value for our shared customers.
Smart Office4TFS helps bridge the gap between the work that the development team is managing in TFS and stakeholders, customers, vendors etc. that need a document.
Modern Requirements4TFS was the superior tool of all that we evaluated. Ease to reuse requirements on an enterprise-wide scale was a significant factor. Its ability to auto-format data in multiple layouts and document templates was equally important. As was its flexible licensing structure, including the ability to enable seamless integration with SharePoint, and build out from all levels of requirement types.
By innovating with Visual Studio, Modern Requirements has created solutions that not only advance its own company, but promise success for its clients as well. We’re pleased to see Modern Requirements’ continued work with Visual Studio and its participation at the Microsoft Developer Tools Partner Summit.
You can format things with more options and more easily in Smart Word4TFS. Doing so enables that formatting to then show up in TFS. For example, I put my details for a few PBIs into a table in Word and that table is now in my PBI in TFS.
