Smart Outlook4DevOps – Connecting Outlook to a Team Project

Video Transcript

This video demonstrates how to connect to a Team project. Initially, when Outlook is not connected to any team project, the options in the ribbon bar are disabled. We click the connect option to start the connection process. We can select the desired team foundation server using the servers button. If the desired team server is not on the list, then we can add it using the add button. We have connected Outlook to the desired team project.

Now if we click the project info option, it shows that team project’s name. The options in the ribbon bar have become enabled. The task options still disabled are because we are currently in the email section. When we move to task section, these options would become enabled.

Thanks for watching this tutorial.
